Instructions
for ordering MetoKote Stationary Products
Getting
Started
- You
will need to be registered to have access to the Metokote catalog.
Many people in MetoKote have been pre-registered, but if you have
not been or don't know, you can call Customer Service at 937-222-9418
and we will either pre-register you or check to see if you are
already registered.
- Once
you are registered and logged in, you will see an icon for MetoKote
Stationary Products. Click on the words under the icon and
this will take you to the product page where you can choose between
letterheads, envelopes or business cards.
Business Cards
- Let’s
start with the Business cards. Click on the words “MetoKote Bus
Cards” and it will take you to the business card order page.
- Once
on the “MetoKote Standard Bus Card” page you will see a box to
the left for job name.Type in the name that will be on the card
and a product description. An Example would be “Joe Smith Bus
cards” or “ Lima , OH letterhead”. This helps us to identify the
order when we receive it.
- Next on the drop-down menu under
Job Name, pick out the quantity you would like to order (it also
shows you the price).
Customizing
your Product
- Next,
move down the page to customize your card by filling in the variable
information. You will see the fields to fill in, so just highlight
those areas and fill it in with your information. You will find
a drop down menu for your location, and by choosing your location
it will automatically fill in you address and phone/Fax number
(the Lima location will have to fill in their own fax number
since they have more than one). If you don’t need an extension
or Mobile number, just leave that field blank and everything will
justify itself.
- Now that all your variable information
is filled in, push the “update preview” button (you MUST
do this first) and in a few seconds your card will appear
with the information you added. You can view and print it as a
PDF by pushing the “Open PDF Proof” button (You need to have any
pop-up blockers turned off). If something is not right, change
your information and “update document” again till you get it right.
- Now
you have proofed it, it's right and you are ready to place the
order. Click the box that you have reviewed and approved this
job and at the bottom of the page is a “Add to Cart” button.
Other Products
- The
process is the same for customizing letterheads and envelopes
except that you just use the drop down menu to pick your location,
just follow the links to those products from the products page.
Making
the Purchase
- After
you pushed the “Add to Cart” button you are taken back to the
product page. You can now check out or order more products. Assuming
you are ready to check out, look to your right and down the screen
a little where it shows you the contents of your cart and press
the “Check Out” Button.
- Now
you are taken to the page with shipping and payment information.
Go down the page and after checking your shopping cart for accuracy
(you can double click on the item and it will take you back to
the product order page if you want to make corrections to an individual
item), and on that side will be shipping information.
The
default address will be what you entered in the registration process,
but if you would like another address entered into your profile
click on the Rolodex icon next to the ship to line and enter a
new address.
On
the right side, since MetoKote web orders are all to be charged
to Credit Cards, that will be your only option and it will be
pre-selected. Go ahead and press the “Confirm Order” button on
the right side of your screen.
- Next,
(after you scroll down the page) you will be asked to enter your
credit card information: you can double check your shipping information
at this point as well. Confirm the order again and if all is good,
click the “Place Order” Button and you are finished.
