Otterbein Retirement Community Case Study

Situation:

Otterbein Retirement Communities has many different locations around Ohio and each location has a variety of pieces they use to support their marketing efforts. When you add that all up, that’s a lot of different information on a lot of different pieces.

Challenge:

Working with Otterbein, the process would need a variety of typesetting, back-and-forth proofing, and emails and phone calls amassed through the process. Basically, there was a lot of administration that went into all of these small orders to make them right. We knew there had to be a more efficient way of handling a large amount of small orders that contained lots of variables.

Solution:

We developed an Online Catalog of all of Otterbein’s products and split it into 3 different sub-catalogs: their facility material, marketing material, and their Avalon division material. Inside each of the sub-catalogs you will find all the things that each division needs: Business cards, letterheads, a bunch of different envelopes, note cards and so on.

Since they have been using the online catalog, their point person for ordering says that it has saved her a lot of time and made the whole process easier. And from Oregon’s perspective, we are confident that we’re able to give them the most out of each dollar they spend.
